About this space

Traditional Aruban Colonial house. The house is from 1940 and a two story extension is attached with air-conditioned living/dining room, kitchen and additional bedrooms. Great design accents and modern features combined with history. This house is located 5 minutes away by car from beaches, restaurants, watersport area and hotel area (Palm Beach) in the Northern area of Aruba.

The space

New feature is the fully airconditioned living room and kitchen/dining area. This 2150 square feet (200m2) real Aruban style house was built in 1940. The original house (which is called a Cunucu house) consists of stacked walls of limestone. The house has been regularly renovated over the years, but has retained its traditional character. The spacious master-bathroom was redone in the last quarter of 2017.

Guest access

The house sleeps 6 persons in 3 bedrooms (one on the ground floor with WIC). Furthermore, the house is equipped with 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room (airconditioned), a fully equipped kitchen with an historic stove, 1 dining porche and 2 covered area with hammock where you can relax. On the terrain is also a parking lot where you can park 2 cars. On the second floor (reached by a steep stair) you have a view over a part of the island. You will be surrounded by a relaxed atmosphere, a tropical garden and enjoy the nature around you.

Other things to note

Living room, dining area, kitchen and all the 3 bedrooms and living room are fully airconditioned. Hot water in showers and kitchen.
